Privacy Policy

01

Who We Are

TrueVerdict (“we”, “us”, or “our”) is an AI-powered dispute resolution platform. When you use TrueVerdict at trueverdict.app, you are entrusting us with information about personal conflicts. We take that seriously.

This Privacy Policy explains what we collect, how we use it, and the strong protections we apply, especially around your dispute submissions, which are among the most sensitive things you can share with any platform.

02

What We Collect

We collect only what is necessary to operate the service.

Account information

Email address, your name, and account creation timestamp. Required to create and access your account.

Case submissions

The story you submit as Party A or Party B, your desired outcome, and the dispute category. These are encrypted at rest the moment they are saved.

Verdict data

The AI-generated verdict including summary, individual assessments, root cause, and ruling. Stored and linked to your case ID.

Payment information

We do not store card details. Payments are processed by Whop. We receive only a confirmation of successful payment and your transaction ID.

Usage data

Basic server logs (IP address, browser type, pages visited). Used solely for security monitoring and debugging. Not sold or shared.

03

The Privacy Wall Between Parties

This is the core promise of the platform. We enforce it absolutely.

Party A’s submission is never shown to Party B. Party B’s submission is never shown to Party A. Not after the verdict. Not if both parties request it. Not ever.

The AI model receives both submissions in a single, private API call. Its output references perspectives from both sides without quoting or attributing either. Your exact words are never part of the verdict text.

Individual assessments in the verdict are further separated: Party A sees only their assessment; Party B sees only theirs. The ruling section is identical for both.

04

Security & Encryption

We apply the following protections to all sensitive data:

Encryption at rest

All case submissions and verdict data are encrypted at rest in our database (Supabase with AES-256 encryption). Raw story text is never stored in plaintext.

Encryption in transit

All data between your browser and our servers is transmitted over TLS 1.2 or higher. All connections are HTTPS-only; plain HTTP is rejected.

Private case links

Case access is controlled by unique, randomly generated 8-character IDs. These links are not guessable or enumerable. Only parties who hold the link can access a case.

AI model data handling

Submissions are processed by Anthropic's Claude API to generate verdicts. Anthropic's data privacy policies govern those transmissions. We do not store submissions in any external system beyond Supabase.

05

Public Feed: Opt-In Only

Cases are private by default. A verdict only appears on the public feed if both parties independently opt in after receiving their verdict. Neither party can publish without the other’s consent.

Published verdicts are fully anonymised. All names and personally identifying details are replaced with “Person A” and “Person B.” The raw submission text is never included. Only the anonymised summary and ruling are shown.

Once published, either party may request removal at any time by contacting us. We will remove the public entry within 48 hours.

06

Data Retention & Deletion

You are in full control of your data.

Case deletion

When you delete a case, all associated submissions, the verdict, and all database records are permanently and immediately deleted. There is no grace period and no recovery. If you delete a case, it is gone.

Account deletion

When you request account deletion, your account is deactivated immediately. You have a 30-day recovery window during which you may reactivate. After 30 days, your account and all associated data are permanently purged.

Inactive cases

Cases where only one party has submitted and no verdict has been issued will be automatically deleted after 90 days of inactivity.

07

Sharing of Data

We do not sell your data. We do not share your data with advertisers. TrueVerdict is ad-free and does not use advertising-based business models.

We share data only with these service providers, strictly to operate the platform:

Supabase

Database and authentication provider. Stores your account, case, and verdict data under their data processing agreement.

Anthropic

AI model provider (Claude API). Receives case submissions to generate verdicts. Subject to Anthropic's API usage and privacy policy.

Whop

Payment processor. Handles all transactions. We receive only payment confirmation. Card data never touches our servers.

Vercel

Hosting provider. Serves the application. Standard hosting logs apply.

We may disclose data if required by applicable law or a valid legal process. We will notify you of any such request to the extent permitted by law.

08

Your Rights

You have the right to access a copy of the data we hold on you, correct any inaccurate data, request deletion of your account and all data, and withdraw consent at any time by deleting your account.

To exercise any of these rights, contact us at the address below. We will respond within 14 days.

09

Policy Changes

If we make material changes to this policy, we will notify you by email at least 14 days before the changes take effect. Continued use of the platform after that date constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
